The Big Island
is almost twice the size of all the other Hawaiian Islands
and a colorful blend of old and new. Of the 13 climatic zones in
the world,
11 are present on the Big Island, creating incredible diverse landscapes.
Hilo
(east coast)

A small charming town with family-run shops conjures up a sense
of old Hawaii. Rich in creativity, Hilo is home to many artists.

Less than an hour away, you will find Volcano National Park, site
of the famed Kilauea Volcano.
Kona (west coast)
If
you fly into Kona International Airport, you may think you've landed
in another world. Miles of stark lava fields give the impression
of a moonscape. Head north to the Waikoloa and Kohala coastline
to enjoy the beautiful sand beaches and spectacular resorts.

South of the airport, Kailua-Kona town has shopping and reasonably
priced accommodations.
